Fashion Sculpture: Intro

In this experimental workshop, participants will explore clothing and accessories as sculptural forms. Using fabric, wire, unconventional materials, layering, folding, and manipulation, you’ll create a small fashion sculpture inspired by the body, architecture, movement, or your imagination.
This class encourages experimentation with shape and structure rather than traditional garment construction. Come ready to bend, twist, wrap, layer, and build.
No prior fashion or sculpture experience is required. All materials are provided.
You’ll leave with:
• A completed fashion sculpture
• An introduction to textile sculpture and three dimensional design
• Techniques for manipulating materials into sculptural forms
