Hosted by Eugenie, Village Pride is a neighborhood celebration that brings together fashion, art, music, and community in Detroit’s West Village. The event unfolds across the beer garden behind Eugenie on Van Dyke and an expanded block party on Agnes Street, which is transformed for the day with additional vendors, a solar powered installation, DJ sets, and community centered programming.

The fashion show takes place directly on the street, turning the neighborhood into a living runway inspired by the energy and intimacy of Rachel Comey’s SS26 presentation in a Brooklyn alleyway. Through this site specific activation, Taylor Childs Studio uses fashion as a way to engage place, reflect local culture, and activate public space through storytelling and collective experience.
